My outdoor newborn sessions are available throughout spring and summer, when conditions are generally more suitable for photographing little ones outdoors. As your baby's comfort and wellbeing always come first, all sessions are weather dependent, with availability limited during the colder autumn and winter months.
The Wildflower Initiative is a little tradition that grows alongside your family.
Every family and childhood photography session includes a packet of wildflower seeds to take home and grow.
The following year, simply send me a photograph of your wildflowers and you'll be invited to book either a complimentary mini session or get £50 off a full family, newborn, or childhood session.

What if my children don't sit still?
You don't need perfectly posed children for beautiful family photographs. My outdoor family photography sessions are relaxed and child-led, giving little ones the freedom to explore, play, cuddle, laugh and simply be themselves. Some of my favourite photographs come from the in-between moments when children forget the camera is even there.
We feel awkward in front of the camera, will you guide us?
Absolutely. Most families tell me this before their family photography session. My approach to family photography is relaxed, natural, and focused on genuine connection rather than stiff poses. Throughout your outdoor family photoshoot, I'll gently guide you with simple prompts and activities so you never have to worry about what to do. The result is natural family photographs that feel authentic, joyful, and true to your family.
What should we wear for our outdoor family photography session?
Once your family photography session is booked, I'll send over a styling guide to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel true to your family. For outdoor family photography, I always recommend comfortable clothing in complementary tones that allows everyone to move, play, and relax naturally. The goal is to create timeless family photographs that feel authentic to you and look beautiful displayed in your home for years to come.
Where do your family photography sessions take place in Lincolnshire?
I photograph families across Lincolnshire, including Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Louth, Brigg, Market Rasen, Lincoln and the surrounding villages. Whether you're looking for family photos on the beach, in the woods, among the wildflowers of the Lincolnshire Wolds, or somewhere that holds special memories for your family, we'll choose a location that feels meaningful to you.
My outdoor family photography sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable for children and parents alike, creating natural family photographs full of genuine connection, personality and emotion.
What happens after our family photography session?
After your family photography session, I carefully hand-edit each image to ensure your gallery reflects the warmth, connection, and personality of your family. Once your family photographs are ready, I'll invite you to view your gallery and choose your included digital images. You'll also have the opportunity to explore beautiful wall art, albums, and additional photographs if you'd like to preserve even more of your family's story.
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather isn’t suitable for your family photography session, we’ll simply reschedule to another date. I always want your outdoor family photography session to take place in the best possible light and conditions, so your family photographs feel natural, warm, and full of atmosphere that reflects your story beautifully.
Can newborn photography sessions take place during winter?
My newborn sessions take place outdoors in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, so they're dependent on suitable weather conditions. As newborns are still developing their ability to regulate their body temperature, I don't hold outdoor newborn sessions when temperatures fall below 10°C.
If the weather is too cold, wet or otherwise unsuitable, we'll look at rearranging your session for a safer, more comfortable day. Your baby's wellbeing will always come first, and I'll discuss the options with you when planning your session.

Family photography sessions in Lincolnshire start at £249. This includes a relaxed outdoor family photography session, full planning and guidance, and a selection of professionally edited family photographs with the option to purchase additional images and artwork after your gallery viewing.
If you're looking for a shorter childhood storytelling session (without full family photographs), these start at £179. These sessions are focused on capturing your child’s personality, expressions, and this fleeting stage of childhood in a natural outdoor setting.
How long does a family photography session last?
A family photography session in Lincolnshire lasts up to 2 hours, giving plenty of time for everyone to relax, explore, and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. This slower pace allows for natural outdoor family photographs full of connection, movement, and genuine moments.
Childhood storytelling sessions are shorter, usually around 45 minutes, making them perfect for capturing your child’s personality, expressions, and this fleeting stage of childhood in a relaxed and gentle way.
